Andrew is  writer who just lost his love of his life, Hazel. His mind is filled with the past memories and just living in the present is  hard. He tries to escape these because he doesn't want to admit the fact that Hazel is long gone, that there is no point of return for her. But the flashbacks make it seem like she's still there. Meanwhile Jake,  Andrew's college buddy tries to help his best friend cope with this tragedy and depression and move on with life.
