Gaara, the 'self-loving demon.' As a child in Suna, Gaara had met a girl, unlike any he'd met before: Strong, intellectual, skillful, and kind. She treated him, not as a monster, but as a person, even friend. Her looks balanced out her personality perfectly, in other words, she was beautiful. But can this mysterious girl survive the onslaught, that is the one-tailed demon, Shukaku, residing inside of Gaara? Even when she is battling her own demons?
Since she was born, she had a Tailed Beast sealed inside her, but this particular Tailed Beast was kept secret from everyone, in every village, except for the Kage's. Only few people in Suna knew about the eleven-tailed Hyena, Saori.
After birth since so few people knew about Saori, people believed her to be possessed by a demon of sand, much like Shukaku. If she moved her hand the slightest, tons upon tons of sand would crash down, evidently, she killed people, laughing all the while, because of Saori.

Shinki's story
Shinki is Gaara's adopted son and was born into a regular family at the outskirt of Suna. However, at birth, he was blessed with the power to manipulate sands and soon created his own iron sand to control similar to that of the 3rd Kazekage. As a infant, Shinki is unable to control his blessed power and often wreck damage to his home with his sands flying around, destroying everything it touches. Soon, his parents was victims and got hurt by his sands. Unable to take care of him, Shinki was abandoned at the age of 3. Still unable to control his power, he often hurt innocent people everywhere he go and people feared him. The news soon alarm the Office Building and Gaara went into action. A/N: I haven't seen many stories about Shinki and thought I should write a story about his life based on my imagination (and maybe throw a little Gaara's childhood in there). Shinki is my 2nd most favorite character in the new generation behind his lovely cousin Shikadai so I thought, what better way to show my love to him than writing a story about his life? There has been times were when it's snowing the only thing she had was just a thin long baggy shirt to protect her from the cold. Every night after a long day of trying to find supplies to life out in the forest or small villages were she would steal things she would come home to a raggedy old tend and try to take care of her dying mother. After years and years of this live style she has grown numb to emotional and mental pain and has a high tolerance for physical pain. But soon her efforts of keeping her mother alive fails. As her mother was on her last dying breathe she simply handed her an old notebook she had have for years. It was her dairy and it held all the information about her father and about her.
