What if Al would have never died. What would he have become? Three years after the outbreak in the factions, Al meets a young initiate named Ardith. He notices somthing different in here that he has never noticed in any other initiate within the years he was the initiate instructor.And it wasent the fact she was Divergent. What will happen when she's ready to give up? What will Al do to help this young initiate?

This is the second book of I am dauntless tetralogy. Jade made it through initiation, so did Four. But they are not as close as they were at the beginning. Both have drifted apart into their own life's at dauntless. Jade is with Eric. They both take leadership at dauntless as Jade also trains initiates seasonally. Two years have passed and a new Stiff catches Jade's eye. She notice something different with Four, he comes around as you both train the initiates. But so does the new stiff.
