A disease has swept the globe putting everyone into comas, my family, my friends. It has been months now since my brother and I woke up to find my family in comas. Over that time I have been to so many different places for so many different reasons, but now I believe that I am in the right place, the place that I thought I was all along.

The Government took me away from my family when I was 8 years old, they said I wasn't Zombie enough to be considered a Zombie. They had my name changed from something original, but that let's face it doesn't match anything about me, to a normal unique original name. Most zombies did have normal human like names except for me. Now, I'm a human. No one trusts me at all, I don't need a watch thing, but everyone still thinks I'll eat their brains. I never believed it would end like this. I was just watching Netflix when the power went out, then before I knew it everyone was screaming, then the school began to shake and fell to the ground. Only three kids in my entire school were spared, four if you count me. I found a group of people heading to the east coast for a boat trip to a supposed safe haven in India. They died of disease days later. I found their bodies by the river. But I guess this is my life now, surviving with a scared boy, a pair of twins and trying to make it to the next day. Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.Complete
