Between our world, in the crevasses and gaps which we leave, another hides. That world is a world made by wizardkind, those who use their magic blood to wield that very same energy. In that world lives Olivier Leuvaarden, a maker of wands, who is nobody exceptional, but who gets pulled into an operation of the DOPAQ, the Defenders of Peace and Quiet, nonetheless, exactly because he is nobody exceptional. His mission is to dissuade or kill a wizard who is trying to raise his sister back from the dead, as he needs five souls to do so, and threatened to reveal the existence of the magical world to ourselves if the DOPAQ interfered. Given little choice in the matter, Olivier decides to accept, and ventures to start A Mage's Tale.

Aetheria : The Lost Legacy by Monocarpic
5 parts Ongoing Mature
Aetheria, a land once vibrant with magic, now lies in the grip of a darkness that refuses to fade. The war that ravaged its lands left scars too deep to heal and secrets too dangerous to reveal. The magical society, once the guardians of hope, withdrew into the shadows, sealing their world away from the mundane, leaving the ruins to fester in silence. But silence breeds fear, and fear breeds nightmares. In the ordinary world, four unsuspecting individuals are about to be dragged into a reality they can barely comprehend. They carry the blood of Aetheria, a cursed inheritance that binds them to a fate they cannot escape. As the barriers between their world and Aetheria weaken, they are thrust into a dark and twisted reality where nothing is as it seems. Mishaps plague their every step; hardship becomes their constant companion. They struggle to accept the horrors unfolding around them, questioning their sanity as the lines between reality and nightmare blur. Powerful enemies, born of ancient magic and unrelenting hatred, emerge from the shadows, determined to destroy them before they can understand their true purpose. The gateway to Aetheria is opening, and with it comes a storm of chaos and fear. The four must confront the darkness within and without, facing battles they are ill-prepared for, in a world where trust is a luxury and survival is never guaranteed. But in the end, how do you fight an enemy when you never knew reality-the new reality you've been thrust into?

The Tower: Book One of the Legend of the Artificer

15 parts Complete

A nameless, lonely protagonist from our world trades their names for the chance to enter a new world with magic, but the twist is this: they have to start out locked in a tower with the only escape being undoing a cosmic enchantment. So, naturally, instead of getting out, they spend a full year becoming a savant of artificing. The problem when they get out? This is a world where there are no artificer savants. What mayhem will greet them when they make their way out into the wide world awaiting them?
