I knew he wasn't real. I was ill; Sick in the head, like everyone always told me. Ever since I was a lonely 3-year old child, my best friend had been birthed from my mind.
Yet here he was, standing in front of me, staring at me. He was right in front of my eyes, ironically the day after I had been declared treated; completely rid of any schizophrenia symptoms I held before.
