This is a story about Alec Hughes, who is a 15 year old sophomore in high school. He's not your average teen guy, and he is frequently called out on it by his peers.  Alec is gay, and and stuck in the tiny, homophobic, Christian town of Salvation, Oregon.  Dreaming about someone to love is becoming a little less realistic each day, and Alec decides he might as well just fall into the roll his family and former friends want for him.
