This is a story about Alec Hughes, who is a 15 year old sophomore in high school. He's not your average teen guy, and he is frequently called out on it by his peers. Alec is gay, and and stuck in the tiny, homophobic, Christian town of Salvation, Oregon. Dreaming about someone to love is becoming a little less realistic each day, and Alec decides he might as well just fall into the roll his family and former friends want for him. This is an LGBTQ story, so if you are going to make negative comments, just turn around now. If not, welcome!

The boy he wasn't looking for
"Promise me you'll stay strong, for me, for us" Smiling at the older boy below him Blake rested his forehead upon Alec's. "I promise" Hearing these words Alec smiled once more. That promise was all he needed to keep going. For them, for Blake. *** Blake was a nerd, shy, Introverted. Doesn't have many friends other than the school librarian, parents and the local café owner. He's never been one to interact with his fellow classmates. Always been put down upon, bullied by the schools football team. Starting his Sophomore year in high school all Blake could do was hope for the best, be able to merely pass this year in a flash. However a certain jock had other plans. Alec was new to school, becoming popular quite quickly. His angelic looks, body like every girls dream. He soon became the captain of the basketball team. His cold demeanor, bitter attitude girls drooled over him even more. All he hoped was to find a girl to make his, spoil. Except fate chose to completely switch his life upside down. Practicing for his next game Alec didn't expect to stumble upon a certain boy. His heart doing something it's never done before, skip a beat. Following his gut Alec knew what he wanted and when he wants something he gets it. However will Alec's family secret scare the only thing he's come to care for away in the world?! The Greatest Abomination
Andrew Smith is a 17 year old boy intent on having the best life possible. There's just one problem - his orientation. In this LGBT themed story, he narrates his experiences from childhood to adolescence in what life as a gay boy has consisted of, including all the laughs, tears, loves, disappointments, and challenges along the way. It's a tale of self-acceptance and the desire to be just like anyone else. Through many ups and downs, Andrew begins to lose hope in himself and his future. Is all hope lost for Andrew or will things work themselves out in the end? ----- This story is a mixture of my own personal experiences and some fiction to make it "flow" better. It's the first type of writing I've ever really done, and was originally written to self-help, to allow me to cope and deal with things. I decided to publish it because there might be others out there who face the same situations as me, and it helps to know you're not alone. Anyway, feel free to leave any type of feedback/criticism! Everyone thinks being the Preacher's daughter is so easy but let me tell you a little secret, it isn't. Important Note: This is an old version. A new version to fit my series, Final Reckoning will be uploaded, but still enjoy this one :D Thomas Haynes, a 17 year old teenager in his last year of high school. He's the average teenager. You know, the agile yet non athletic guy, and this is his last time moving. When he was younger as a child, his family moved a lot because of money troubles, mostly from the way the economy is right now. And the economy is pretty screwed up at the moment. Even though he may be the average teenager, he has a secret about himself. He's gay, I know. Pretty shocking, right? How will he survive school staying in the closet? Especially when he meets a guy who he likes, who turns out to be a jock, but not a typical jock as everybody thinks, yet a jock who has their own secrets. Rise Up And Take A Shot
Cover art dose not belong to me! It's whoever made it and I wanna say it looks AWESOME Alexander is really messed up. He has anxiety, depression, and is mute. By choice. He's also an orphan, and he's been bouncing around foster homes since he was about 11. In all of them, he's been abused, one way or another. He's been in about 7 different homes by now, and his current one doesn't seeeem so bad. But you never know. He's 14, and and has been jumped ahead a few years in school. He will face many struggles along the way, but he will rise up above them to take his shot. And one day, he will blow us all away. Note: There is swearing, talk of abuse and suicide, some abuse (not a lot! only a LITTLE), and some school-level fighting so basically maybe just a fist fight or two. 21 year old Alex is a unique person. His pronouns are he/him, but sometimes he was just flat out confused. Overall, he'd decided that he/him fit him best, despite the fact that his biggest secret lies underneath his clothes and inside his bedroom. He has a crush on the boy from the shop across the way from his shop in the mall, they'd been staring at each other, smiling and winking sometimes here and there, but neither of them had asked the other out, let alone introduced themselves. "God made everyone perfect, right? Then why is my existence a sin." Nick is a trans boy who is just trying to be himself. But sadly not everyone excepts him that way. His parents try really hard to get him to be a girl and after he got into a fight at school he has to go to detention where he meets a boy called Devin. While his own view about himself is challenged, he finds himself touching rock bottom. But Nick is just trying to be accepted as himself, Unapologetically. This is a story written for pride month 2024.
