Eir Odinsdottir is the goddess of healing and light and she so happens to be Thor's younger twin sister. She's not a fighter and finds more use in being a healer and helping others get better over hurting them.

She is very close with her brother Thor, and even more so with Loki, she's actually the only one out of the twins Loki talks to like a normal person. He often goes to her for advice or just to find peace and quiet.

When all the fighting happened Ingrid spent a lot of the time in the healing rooms helping the healers and was a big help in saving her mother's life when a mutated Dark Elf tried to kill her, much to Loki's discreet relief.

But when all the fighting finished and the Avengers and her brothers decided to spend the rest of their time on Midgard, she wanted to go with them, she wanted to learn Midgardian medicine and wanted to meet her brothers' friends.
