Magkakaibigan na kami simula pa lang nung mga bata kami, kasama na doon si Maliyah. Isang araw nang bigla na lamang sinabi sa amin ng parents namin na patay na sya. Sobrang lungkot ang naramdaman namin ng mga oras na yun. Pero umaasa pa din kami na buhay sya dahil hindi namin nasilayan ang bangkay nya o ano mang ebidensya na patay na nga sya. 

Noon pa man ay may gusto na ako kay Maliyah. Madalas ko syang sinusungitan at laging ang nakangiting mukha nya ang ganti nya sa akin. Kaya nung nawala sya ay parang nawala na din ang kalahati ng buhay ko, naging cold ako sa ibang tao at madalang na lamang din ako kung magsalita. I became a different person. Hindi ako sumuko sa paghahanap sa kanya, umaasa ako na buhay pa sya. Lagi ko din tinatanong sina mom & dad kung totoo bang patay na si Maliyah, pero ang lagi lang nilang sagot..

Nang makita ko sya sa mortal world ay hindi ko alam na sya ang Maliyah na matagal na naming hinahanap. Hindi ko kailanman naisip na ang misyong binigay pala ni dad ang magpapabago ng buhay ko. Hindi ko sya nakilala, nag-iba ang itsura nya, pangalan nya at ang personality nya. Bata pa kami nang huli ko syang makita.  Akala ko ay dahil lamang sa pagkamangha ang nararamdaman ko sa kanya, hindi ko alam na kaya pala magaan ang loob ko sa kanya ay sya pala ang babaeng matagal ko ng hinahanap.
