A strong young woman clings to all she has ever known despite her heart telling her it is wrong. A young man comes along and it forces her to see things from a higher perspective and she now strives to free herself from her fears and her demons.

After trying to run away, Émelie gets captured by a giant. He brings her to his world where she cannot escape. The giant teases her, so she learns to dislike him. But after much time together, those feelings start to change.
