thorns don't hurt me
as much as roses do.
[Warning: I was 15-16 years old and this was my first book, and I hereby apologise for the varied amount of cringe encased in some of the poems.]

Tenth Grade was Fun!
Sometimes you get things to happen your way and you're happy, sometimes you don't and you're hurt. What hurts even more is to experience what you had wanted for a little while only for it to be robbed away from you brutally. However, everything does happen for a certain reason doesn't it? - - - - Getting the cute boy in her music class-who now goes to the same school as her-to reciprocate her feelings and get a good score in the tenth grade board exam was definitely in Rithvika Sharma's agenda. What wasn't in it though, was getting into a ruckus of drama. Does she really woo the cute boy? Or is a change of plans in order?
