Those were the last words that Demanitus spoke to Varian the day after he took what was rightfully his. The day that Manny disappeared- quite possibly for good. That day was two years ago.

These words haunt Varian- his parents are long gone, as is his brother, Cass is accounted for, and they don't have any kids yet- but he's determined to figure it all out.

It's been two long years, and he has thought and pondered on this so often... And now, he thinks he might have a lead.

But people are depending on him for multiple reasons. People are counting on him to keep promises and secrets, to give advice and time... And Varian doesn't know how to handle it all.
