M'Baku's a hard-headed, proud traditionalist.

(Y/N), the village doctor, is an innovator and his best friend--- and often his greatest enemy.

What will happen when these two different perspectives clash over the events before Challenge Day? Will it destroy a long-standing friendship? Or is it possible that love can bloom in the most hopeless situations and save them? 

(A/N): This is my first fanfic to post after being in the writing game for a very, very, very long time. I'm really excited to write this piece because I have actually been editing it since the day I saw Black Panther (on premiere day with my best friend) - and naturally I just grew so inspired to write about these beautiful characters and the complexities of their relationships. And this is my piece to finally launch myself into the world of fanfic writing.. specifically for Black readers like myself. 

Also I don't own any of the Marvel characters.
