My eyes swept over the very last words of the book. "And they lived happily ever after, The End." I scoffed. No, the events of today had proven, there were no happily ever after's. At least, not in my story. This was not some Cinderella story and I didn't need nor want prince.
She was a waitress who just got her heart broken. He was the billionaire, who had every thing he wanted, except her.
"This is not Cinderella, You don't just get to waltz in here, swept me off my feet and expect us to live happily ever after!" I screamed tugging on my hair in frustration. He grabbed my hands guiding them to wrap around his neck. "What are you..." I started, but he silenced me by pressing his lips softly and lovingly to mine. It was like the one's you see on the Hallmark Channel that make you feel really bad about your love life. "This could either be the end, leaving you and me with a broken heart or this could be the beginning of our happily ever after," he stated smiling down at me, love shown bright in his eyes.
