My eyes swept over the very last words of the book. "And they lived happily ever after, The End." I scoffed. No, the events of today had proven, there were no happily ever after's. At least, not in my story. This was not some Cinderella story and I didn't need nor want prince.

"This is not Cinderella, You don't just get to waltz in here, swept me off my feet and expect us to live happily ever after!" I screamed tugging on my hair in frustration. It was like the one's you see on the Hallmark Channel that make you feel really bad about your love life.
