"Alice," his throaty voice whispered. His intense eyes appeared as if he was on the brink of insanity.
"Who are you? Where am I?" I asked, as my heart began to hammer away.
I felt the need to run away yet I couldn't. It was as if fear was pinning me to the ground.
His face contorted into fury as he tightly gripped my shoulders drawing blood. Tears began to form in my eyes as I let out a ragged breath.
"How can you forget me? Forget us?" He screamed in frustration before disappearing, leaving me stunned.

Hatter's Revenge (rewriting - read at own risk)
There are a few things you need to know about Wonderland. First off, completely misnamed. It should be Terrorland. People don't just accidentally tumble into Wonderland, it sucks them in. There is no following of cute white rabbits with pocket watches. Wonderland is dangerous and you can lose a lot more than your head if you're not careful. Second, the Hearts are in control, but they shouldn't be. The throne of Wonderland rightfully belongs to the Spade heir. But he's currently missing. Third, and probably most important, is that Madison Hatter is NOT a native of Wonderland. He was yanked through a mirror many years ago and has been trying to survive Wonderland ever since. Now he has an idealistic young Real-Worlder on his hands and a rebellion in his heart. Mad is going to remove that Heart Queen if it's the last thing he does. She's the one who stole him from his life all those years ago and he's been waiting for the moment when he can tear her life to shreds in repayment.
