After the exposure of a heinous act done by a chosen hero of long ago, the Yiga clan has gained drastic numbers in their cult following of Ganon and hatred of the Hero as well as the Royal family. It has split from Hyrule as an unofficial kingdom. And they've been in a cold war for the past hundred years. 

Liera the daughter of a powerful Yiga general is in grief of the disappearance of her twin brother after he was sent to spy on the royal family. Refusing to consider him dead she embarks on a journey across Hyrule to find her brother and atempt the goal of her people.
