After one of his best friends, Marquis de Lafayette, leaves to go back to France for a few months, Alexander Hamilton wants to keep in touch. He writes letters to Laf every day, and someone new gets mixed up in the relationship.

Alexander found himself a pen pal.

Come thirteen years, and Hamilton is fighting for his debt plan when a familiar face arrives and takes the court by storm.

T/W: there is a LOT of cussing, homophobia. Near-death experiences, and carrier pigeons

This fic goes from "That makes pretty good sense" to "wtf is happening, everything is on fire but like in a meme?" pretty quickly

AND ITS COMPLETE, YAY!

[edit]: holy shit, this was an unintentional Love, Simon Au thing...

Mr Jefferson is Coming Home (Jamilton)

30 parts Complete

1789: Thomas Jefferson returns from France and meets Alexander Hamilton for the first time. It's hatred at first sight, but it will eventually change into something none of them would ever have imagined. Set in the 18th century, the two political enemies will have to overcome their own fears and to hide their love, while trying to build their new nation. (Jamilton / past Lams) ***And then it happened. Jefferson looked away from Burr for just a second and fixed his eyes on Alexander's. Alex's heart stopped and he felt his blood running cold into his veins - what should he do? Should he nonchalantly walk out of that damned alley, or run away, or what? He was trying to think fast, but in the end he just stayed there, frozen on his spot by Jefferson's smug stare. For what it seemed to be a lifetime, Thomas's brown eyes held his gaze, tying Alexander's blue, wide eyes to his, reading his very soul like an open book. Then, he winked and turned to Burr again, acting as if nothing had happened. Alex abruptly retreated into the deep shadows of the alley, breathing hard and sweating as if he'd just had an epiphany. Five seconds. Just five insignificant seconds and his world had been turned upside down.*** Cover picture credits to --> hello.im.jade on instagram: https://www.instagram.com/hello.im.jade/
