"My pleasure, Jacqueline." Jack whispered, barely breathing out the last part. But my sharp ears picked it up and I looked at him in surprise. How did he know my name? I haven't even introduced myself.

After getting kidnapped on that fateful day and being carted off to an experiment facility, Jacqueline finally escapes, with better understanding of her abilities and even more questions. Killing the men in her pursuit leads her to find a Man who offers her a home.
