Rivera, at age 13, gets a little too closely entwined with the secrets of the forest. Wanting to know if the monsters she's been dreaming about exist, and eager to prove them real to her fellow bunkmates, she goes looking in the woods for something to help. After she comes across a ruined temple in the woods, things finally start to go her way. She doesn't know what the strange symbols hanging in the air mean. She doesn't know what she's done.
