Rita Good comes from a long bloodline of witches. Claiming back to the good old days of Salem and having kept hidden from the hunters and others who would seek them harm. Hell, all of Rita's family is pagan in some way or the other. Which is the thing: Rita Good is not! And personally, she's done with the whole scene and jumps right to the college is heading to the west coast to get some space from her weird kin.
Now in college training to be a vet tech, she's left behind that foolishness of her family. Trying to make the grade and hold down two jobs so she can pay for her college. Rita tries to keep to herself and stay out of trouble, just somehow it always seems to find her. Keeping in mind this is all just explained events that anyone has to deal with.
Which she should know better, you would think? No. While at a party with a few friends, Rita goes into the woods and finds herself waking up in the world of the Annwn. That is not the problem, she finds herself caught between the Cunning Folk and those of the Fair Folk. Both fighting over the magic of the Wylderwoods. Now trying to find a way home, helping out the Cunning Folk and also playing a part in stopping the Fair Folk from coming to her world. Rita Good better get ready to embrace her inner witch, she's going to need it!
