Marguerite Jacqueline Bryant has been looking forward to this day for her entire life. It is the eve of her coronation ceremony. All of her friends, family, the royal court (Dukes, Duchesses, etc...) will be there as venerated guests. Not only is she the queen-to-be of her homeland, Cordova. She is also the queen of her underwater subjects; the merpeople of Caetia.

She is not your typical woman either; she does not plan to marry or have children (at least not right away). In time, she'll find love with one of her subjects, Acheron, who is a member of the merpeople's royal court.

Marguerite and Acheron will have many trials that they'll have to face together and apart. Many long and arduous wars, along with many suitors wishing to take her hand in marriage. After long strife and a burning enthusiasm for peace and prosperity, Marguerite and Acheron finally merge their two kingdoms and create an everlasting love for one another.

However, even though their love for each other is stronger than any obstacle that is out there, there is some trouble is on the horizon. Who or What is this threat, and how will it try to ruin their happiness?
