In the corrupt world Abby lives in, things are difficult. Teenagers and children are taken at random, sent to an unfamiliar place called the Chain. In the Chain, they are forced into having a procedure which will determine whether they are good, or bad. After Abby is deemed bad, it is said that she must be executed. In order to escape her terrible fate, she must transform her identity into a girl who is good. She must live amongst the good, and train to be a killer like all that are good must do. But what happens when the mysterious boy, Alex, discovers who she is? What happens when Abby discovers what being bad makes her capable of? And most importantly, how will Abby survive in a place like the Chain? Read to find out.
