Courting the Peasant

Reina hasn't ruled the land for long. In fact, it's been years since she placed the crown atop her feathered head.
And then she was killed.

Yep. An arrow was shot into her back, she was tossed from a third story window, and left for dead. In this world, your successor is your killer.

But Reina never died. In fact, her spirit lives on in the hearts of the townspeople. Her body lives under the watch of one of her former guards, far from where she can be harmed.
