But, when he's first training lesson goes differently than he thought, he starts to realize that not everything about his mentor, Cougarsoul, is perfect. Flintpaw has to find a way to make other's believe his claims and prevent a terrible outcome.

Rockpaw feels like an outcast, everyday being hated on by his Clanmates for seeing things differently. So when the chance to prove them wrong comes up, he doesn't give it a second thought. But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging. For her, everything seems to go wrong. Every plan, every schedule, every patrol - ends up in a disaster, and its always because of her.
