Shattered Angel

A normal girl in a normal world thinks she's ordinary. She and her parents own a bookstore, a place where Artemis loses herself time and time again. One day, though, she gets bored waiting for her friend to show, and she wanders around the store. She finds a flight of stairs she's never seen before, and curiosity overcomes her. Artemis climbs the stairs and finds a door, tests the handle, finds it unlocked. She tells her parents, but they don't believe her, so she shows them... an empty wall. With a photo of her grandmother. Then she hears whispers and feels like she's being watched.
