Sometimes spirits get stuck in the living world. That's where Isa comes in. She not only has the power to see and talk to lost souls - what most of us call ghosts - she can sometimes guide them to the other side. In fact, it's kind of an obsession of hers.

That's how she found the first unhaunted house - the place where an entire family disappeared. Their disappearance was blamed on paranormal activity, so naturally Isa had to check it out. But what she found when she got there was a house completely devoid of souls (well, except for that one...)

When another family in a house all the way across town also disappears, spirits start approaching Isa desperate for her to help them cross over. Isa knows something is terribly wrong. What's out there that even the dead are afraid of?

Sometimes, you don't choose the house, the house chooses you. Troy is an American, lost. Lost in many ways and so, after the death of his father, embarks on a voyage of discovery to the land of his ancestors: Wales. His travels around the country finally lead him to a small village on the West Wales coast. Here he sees a house that enamours him and he endeavours to purchase it. Although Troy is keen to settle down in the village, the locals are not keen on the idea and try to warn him off. But he has made his choice. Or did the house choose him? This is a short story of 17,000 words.
