What if the monstie, Rathalos wasn't the one thrown off the cliff? What if Cheval's mother was never killed? What if there was a Rider with the ability to tame and connect with monsters without a kinship stone? What if that Rider was actually a Hunter? What if that hunter once was a close friend to Lillia, Lute, Cheval, and Navirou? What if that Rider forgot everything but her name and age?

Once an aspiring Rider, young Sylver's dreams were shattered, after a sudden disaster in her village. Or actually, they were forgotten, replaced with dreams aimed at being the 'enemy' of Riders. So how do her friends react? Will they find her? And if they do, how will they feel? Will Cheval and Lute realize their feelings? She's not the girl she used to be. In fact, the only similarities they can find in this new Sylver and their friend was her name and age.  Will they become friends once again? Will they become more? Or will they be facing each on darker terms? 

Join Sylver and her team, along with her old and forgotten friends on a winding path of adventure, love, hatred, confusion, and danger. In a new version of Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On and the Monster Hunter's series traveling to multiple different places with multiple twists and turns as they begin to learn just how much the world has to offer!

Through a series of hapless run-ins, Micheal ends up with four skeletal roommates with bad attitudes and maybe a bit more than the evil on the surface. Nightmare, Horror, Dust and Killer were looking for a home and who was Micheal to deny? He surely didn't want to be unkind. Vi was initially annoyed with the three they considered 'Care Bears' three skeletons that cared a bit too much for their mental health, later on meeting Error, someone they wanted to be better for, Vi might've fallen for the four's words, but they have a lot of hurt inside them, how could they ever be good enough for Dream, Blue, Ink, and Error? Vi would have to be patient with themselves for once. Pluto was unlucky. It was unlucky that he ran into Fell, it was unlucky that he got himself a job at Ebott cities psych ward, where he happened to meet quite the plethora of skeletons and more only kept on coming, gaining Fell as a roommate and Classic, Sci, and Outer as neighbors, Pluto felt maybe he could form attachments again.
