Romance
If you believe in urban legends, then this story is one to actually look into. A simple taxi, that was unlike the rest of it's kind. Other taxi's would take your cash, and take you where you asked to go. This taxi did not. Instead of taking you where you wanted to go, it simply took you where you needed to go. No matter how much you would beg, it would take you never less. It was bringing you to your destiny, as some people needed a push in the right direction. Stumbling out of a bar, my mind of course wasn't on the silly legend. I just wanted to go home and wait for these drinks to wear off. Instead, I found myself hailing a cab. It didn't hit me immediately, but this cab was taking me where I needed to go. No matter what I said, it dropped me off where it believed I was supposed to be. --------------------- Highest rankings #15 - taxi #314 - loving #5 - cab #687 - sweet

Book 1 of "THE HEART Series" **✿❀○❀✿** ˏˋ°•*⁀➷Prayed From The Heart **✿❀○❀✿** He jerked away, voice rising. "Don't start?! YOU started it! Running away! Calling my sister! Telling the police?! And still... still, I tried. I forgave. I brought you dinner, made you dance... and you still look at me like I'm a monster." "You're scaring me..." "Oh, am I?" His voice dropped to a mock-sweet tone. "Then maybe I should give you something real to fear." Before she could react, he shoved her back hard. She stumbled and hit the floor. He pulled out a silver lighter from his pocket, flicked it open with a metallic click, and tossed it to the carpet. "You don't want to be mine? Fine. Then you don't get to live at all." He turned and walked out as smoke curled around the room, leaving her screaming. "HELP! SOMEONE HELP ME! PLEASE!" No one came. She coughed violently, trying to see through the thick smoke. »»--⍟--«« She prayed without words, loved without hope, and survived without strength... until destiny sent her a miracle disguised as a man. Some prayers aren't spoken out loud - they're whispered by a broken heart. She was fragile, lost between the weight of her fears and the silence of her dreams. He was the unexpected answer, the second chance she never dared to hope for. This is a story of healing, of finding strength in love, and of a heart that still believes... even after it's been shattered. Because sometimes, the prayers we send from the deepest corners of our soul... are the ones that find their way home. ೄྀ࿐ ˊˎ- #1 in shimla #3 in bibliophile #3 in fateanddestiny #3 in heartfeltstory #7 in psycotic #3 in completedstory #1 in hersaviour
