Berrypaw looked up at the she-cat, tears filling her moon shaped eyes. "But I- I can't be a great Warrior..." She sniffled. The black she-cat looked down at Berrypaw, her green eyes sparkling. "Oh young one, you are destined to become something greater then just a Medicine cat!" The she-cat purred with amusement. "Wha-?" Suddenly a bright light encased Berrypaw and she passed out on the cold star-filled forest floor. The black she-cat chuckled and turned around to go, her fur sparkling with tiny stars as she went.

But all she got from the Twolegplace were ridicules and mocking from the other kittypets, judging her for preferring to drink from rain puddles instead of water bowls, play in the forest rather than nap beneath the sun, pretend to hunt rather than just eat her pellets. Not to mention the name calling. Needless to say, Angel didn't have many friends in the Twolegplace, and soon found herself wishing for another life. When it seemed opportunity presented itself, she didn't hesitate to jump at the chance, leaving everything she knew behind for an unfamiliar world. But the new life has its challenges, too. Angel was sucked into a war. Oh, and she was fooled. She was fooled into thinking the battles would be a one's basic war, with blood, injuries, and death, but it was so much more than that. Secrets, betrayal, and a dark history lies in wait, unraveling secrets that the white she-cat may have never wanted to know. Angel wanted a new life. But how could she have that new life if she might end up dead?

Disclaimer: This is a completely different world with completely different clans. This fan-book is based off of the book series "Warriors" by Erin Hunter. Since this is based off of Warriors, there will be mild violence in this book. All the characters and the setting of this story is my original work while the rest (like the way how Clans and warrior traditions work, etc.) belong to Erin Hunter. "BEWARE THE BURNING ONE, ELSE ALL WILL FALL." Cats have been living in Clans on three islands for uncountable generations. ValleyClan has been struggling to survive in the past few moons as their enemies grow more powerful. CaveClan is becoming more of a threat and prey has become scarce as leaf-bare comes, but a young apprentice by the name of Darkpaw lets her own curiosity get the better of her to help her Clan-and maybe, just maybe she's the warrior ValleyClan has been looking for. NOTICE (so people won't bother me about them): I had not read past "The Prophecies Begin" when I wrote the prologue, chapter 1, and chapter 2 so you may seem some characters with names that already exist. Also, some cats' appearances may be based off of domesticated cats, are unrealistic, or don't follow the rules of cat genetics. I am aware that regular warrior cats are wild cats, but when I made these designs, I got so used to them that I am not encouraged to redesign them. But hey, this is a fictional story! Multiple things in this book may not be accurate to the traditional way of warrior life (due to me not remembering how it works).

Stars entwine in the darker night as the sky cries stars of pity for those below. Stirring winds and roaring echoes- it calls forward to those those who follow the light of sun and intimidates those who hesitate to act right. "It's all burning," murmured the light grey she-cat with desperation "it's all burning!" she continued on repeating. "It is burning, Cloudfall." Meowed a white tom beside her, his tail resting on her back. "May StarClan light the paths of those cats, may they be safe in their paws." He whispered with awe and sympathy. Edit (10/26/2020): This is quite an old work, and no longer represent who I am, but I do want to prove that I have grown as a writer through these books and other experiences, so it will stay published.

However, their new lives are far from perfect. Honeyfrost and Blackstorm struggle with their emotions for each other along with their loyalties and duties to their Clans. As they get older, they know that soon the two of them must make a choice, whether they follow their hearts or their destinies Nightheart and Falconheart begin to question their shadowy mentors. Falconheart wonders if what he is doing is right, and fears that he may cause the death of another cat. Nightheart begins to dedicate herself more and more to her Clan, and the Dark Forest doesn't approve. Peace between the Clans can't last forever, and everyone is beginning to worry of when a battle, or even a war will break out.
