My Bad Boy by Nickymb

Kelsey Mays knows everything there is to know when it comes to loving a bad boy. They're uncaring jerks who will leave you brokenhearted and alone without a second thought. So when Julio enters her life, she pretty much has him all figured out. But when they become lab partners in a project she would rather not do, she becomes dependent on him. And he knows it. Whatever it takes, Julio plans on breaking her out of her closed, cold chains and showing her a life worth living. A life that doesn't have plans. Through love, bets, loss, lies, and tears, Kelsey must learn what it means to put your trust and love in one person. Even if that person just so happens to be a bad boy.

I wiped my eyes once again to see deep piercing green ones looking down at me. More tears came as I saw the root of my anger, and I stood up pushing past him. I tried to run but got pulled back by a hand grabbing my wrist. "What happened?" Clyde demanded angrily. "Get off of me!" I growled and pried his fingers off my wrist and continued to the bathroom. Once inside I went into a stall and grabbed some toilet paper to wipe my face. Why was I always crying? I heard the door open and I tried to contain my sniffling so that they wouldn't hear. Then I looked down to see the feet and saw Clyde crawling under my stall. ~~~~~ Alexa Moore is a crybaby. She can't deal well with her emotions; if she is frustrated, angry, sad, mad, or hurt she can't help but cry. She hates that she always feels the need to cry and tries to stay happy by being unconfrontational, and staying away from jerks. Clyde Wood is seemingly heartless. Through the bad, sad, hurtful, and pissing situations he appears to be tougher than nails. Sure he is happy most times, but in the eyes of many he is a heartless jerk that picks on everyone. If it wasn't for his great looks he'd probably be with the Gothic kids, not the popular ones. That, and he made a hobby of being a player. Alexa meeting Clyde was definitely a recipe for disaster, causing her to shed more tears than in her entire 17 years. The year goes from good to bad to good to bad, and end bad? With so much heart churning events, will there really be a rainbow after the storm?

You know when you were younger and they told you that you could be whoever you wished to be? You could grow up and become whatever you set your mind and heart upon? Yep, well I'm here to tell you that's a complete load of bull. So as I stared across at my fiancé, our hands conjoined as he read his vows- it dawned on me. Getting married at age 23 to a self centered lawyer who viewed me as more of his little prodigé than his actually wife was not what I wanted. Becoming a defense attorney at a record age to a company own by said husband that I'll never be taken seriously in was definitely not what I wanted. And making my parents happy by completely shutting down any hopes and dreams I've ever had. was absolutely not what I wanted. "Nope." I shook my head, glancing between the priest and Jake, my soon-to-be, as I yanked my hands out of his. "W-what?" He stuttered, looking back at me mortified along with everyone else in the chapel. "Fuck this." I shook my head, as I lifted my dress and quickly made my way back down the isle that was littered with people I'd never seen before. So, few hours later and I'm on the first flight to Maine. Why? Well, shit happens. *this book is unedited
