A Life Beyond The Shadows

Rose is a fourteen year old blind girl. She's been blind since she was eleven. Rose meets Jack out at the lake and they soon become best friends. As time goes on Rose realized she likes Jack much more than she thought. When Jacks grandpa decides to take him to Europe Rose wants to go with, but Jack didn't want her in an unfamiliar place and has to leave her behind. Rose isn't sure what to do. He's her best friend besides her sister and she feels alone after Jack leaves, but she makes a decision that Jack didn't want her to go through with. She just wants to be happier when he comes home and she convinces her parents to help her go through with it. She's scared of what Jack while say and how he'll react, but she hopes he will forgive her and like her surprise.
