Inspired by Issues by Julia Michaels "Yeah I got issues, and one of them is how much I need you." Julia Michaels "He showed me his scars, and in return he let me pretend that I had none." Circe, Madeline Miller "Did you really mean it?" She asked, and George reached across the table, secretly thrilled that she didn't move away from him, grabbing her hand and squeezing it. "I love you, Laura," he decided. "But-I-there's so much I haven't told you yet, I've only known you for a month or so, how have you-?" Laura asked, and George smiled at her. "Laura, none of that matters. ... I love you." George said, and Laura leaned across the table and kissed him. It may have been the most awkward kiss of her lifetime, due to her leaning over a table, but Laura portrayed all her emotions through that one kiss, a simple kiss, and when she pulled back, the pair of them were breathless. "I can't say it back." She admitted and George nodded. "I know." "I'm sorry." She whispered, but George just squeezed her hand. "Don't be."
