Earth's population has skyrocketed in the past 200 years. One day, people are assigned a lottery number and advised to tune into a specially televised program as the subject is of national importance. It's announced that 300 million lucky 'winners' have been randomly selected to inhabit a new dwelling area to help solve the issue of overcrowding. Almost overnight, swarms of military troops (Community Compliance Officers - CCO's) come in and forcibly remove chosen citizens from their homes. Resistance is futile. In a few short years, the goal of the relocation effort is finally made clear. All resources are being allocated to the Towers of civilization. Citizens below are left to starve and wither away. Crops no longer grow due to massive blockage of sunlight from three gargantuan Towers made to house and pamper a select few. Anarchist resistance movements are formed on the ground level. People form new families and connections with others to ensure better chances of survival. Three people's lives will intertwine and be forever changed. The better question is-who will get out alive?

BOOK 1 From the moment the Declaration of Independence was signed, there were people who didn't agree with it. This included a small group of politicians who called themselves Chaos. They vowed to someday take over America and start over with a utopian society where everyone would have a common goal. They slowly infiltrated the government, filling it with corrupt leaders. They planned a mass attack on the U.S. on July 2, 2076, Americas 300th birthday. On that day, they assassinated the president and began bombing in New York. Unfortunately, Chaos only had about 200 soldiers so they came up with a technology to implant a chip in the nervous system and essentially control them. So basically, each solider could make a civilian a soldier and the civilian would be forced to fight and make soldiers of their own. The whole operation snowballed and everything went according to plan. Unlike in other stories, there is no hope and the only way to survive is though the CPO (citizen protection organization), created by Benjamin Franklin. It's a system of secret subway tunnels, used to evacuate civilians to safely. Out story begins on July 2, 2076 when the first bomb drops. Madalyn Grace and her friends are caught in this apocalypse and must find away to leave.

    Sileo Day Survivors.
    Sileo Day Survivors.
Humans were always destined to be extinct but the start. Evolution had killed of several before. Now, it was their turn. But, they would be bringing the earth down with them this time. Their downfall was desecrate to their being. It was their own fault. It was their own faults, their flaws, that lead to what came next for earth. Everyone had been talking about it since the 1950's; global warming was rising the temperatures, killing off land for exotic lifeforms, and soon, what the humans had created would lead to them all dead too. And they all thought that artificial intelligence would kill them? Ha, silly humans. what they created out of greenhouse gases was the true reason of the next mass extinction. In order to preserve time, to buy themselves the time that they had left, the world had somehow formed into one world order, and all lived in the United States Of America, across the states, too. It was very calm, and how their government worked, was there was their leader, their ruler, their king, along with a bunch of advisors who sat on the council, as they all tried to figure out how to combat the rising emissions. They had all agreed that living on a sustainable earth was plausible, but knew that the fight was far from over. But, the fight had to be over soon, because if they did not stop it very soon, they'd be on brink of no return. Of getting up from their place they'd been calling home for 3.4 eons, and finally colonizing another planet. But, they could not, because they knew it would still take them months, and months to get all the supplies, and even then, the supplies wouldn't be enough to host everyone on earth. Some had to be executed, or left behind, waiting for their doom. Their decision? Only the top 1% leave earth to try and colonize another planet. Everyone else would die on what would be known as Sileo Day, which was to happen in less then 24 hours. Some could try and escape, but it would be no use. Or, would it?

    A Country Life
    A Country Life
Three hundred years after the fall, the known world is beginning to regain a semblance of order, with the sword the ultimate power once more. But not everything of old was lost, and there are some that will exert deadly effort to obtain what was left behind. Orphaned, plague-marked and mistrusted by the community he lives in, a boy must come to terms with the fact that he is different from everyone else, but is soon the focus of unwelcome and deadly attention. Separated from her father, a young girl has to learn to survive in a foreign land haunted by tribes of ghosts and roving bands of piratical thralls to a sadistic King. A watcher keeps lonely vigil from within a fortress that has been under siege for hundreds of years, while a soldier dies for the twenty-third time, and dies again while wondering if he is going mad. First started in 2015, this story is at 50k+ words, but was removed when a plotting hiccup was encountered. I now intend to split it into three parts, and this is the complete Part 1. Part 2 will begin once I've finished editing another work... Please vote and comment, as your input will help shape the story. Enjoy!

    Dystopia Rising
The world ended long ago, riddled with plague and zombies and destruction. But humanity survived, and humanity evolved. The Infection that helped bring the world to its knees also changed humans in ways to help them keep living in this now broken world ready to be rebuilt. Seven lineages with three strains each, and each have their own unique set of traits that help us survive. But that's not what this story is about-at least, not really. This story isn't about how a hero will rise and bring the world back to what it was Pre-Fall. This story is about me, an ordinary Remanat living life through the world day to day as a mercenary. A beginner mercenary as everyone likes to remind me. The others in my group have been calling me 'Rookie' since I joined them three months ago. I'm beginning to wonder if they actually know my name. We have been hired to help the New Reach Caravan travel across the wastelands to Philly Del Phia, and this is the perfect opportunity to show them that I'm not just a dumb Rookie. I'm actually quite good at my job. I just happen to get distracted by one certain Eight-Ball, but it's not my fault he's good-looking, and charming, and funny... Anyway, all I have to do is help my group get the caravan to Del Phia. Should be an easy enough job. Just avoid the zoms and keep clear of the Raiders, and we should be fine... Right? Disclaimer: I do not own Zombies, Run! or its characters, nor do I own Dystopia Rising LARP. This is just my Rookie's reaction to the Dystopia Rising New Adventure in the Zombies, Run! App.

    Glitchers
    Glitchers
In the aftermath of a robotic invasion over the human species on Earth, a group of people created a new world on a different planet. Since the robots are a failed idea, they created machines to produce humans using the raw materials required to create life, and named them Perfects and called themselves the Lords of this new world. These Perfects are humans who are produced by machines that remove their thinking of freewill and freedom, thereby obeying the Lords' orders without going against them. But nothing is perfect! The machines occasionally leave the produced humans with a glitch and that gives the Glitchers, freewill. The Lords want them to be dead but they eventually create a place for the Glitchers to live, so that the Lords can study their behaviour and assess the threat that these types of glitches may cause. Also, the people produced in this world are only males. All the knowledge from Earth is hidden to the Glitchers. Now, the Glitchers live in various towns in the Glitchers' land called Errania and each town has rules of its own. There is nothing called as a family here. The life of Glitchers is miserable. People who reacted to the gas that flooded all of our streets in order to change us, for better or worse? No one knows. The government thinks they do though, they think that we're all menaced to society and that we need to be found, captured, and controlled. They even went as far as forming the Justification to replace our current government. They basically did everything in their power to catch us. Although it didn't work very well. There are still thousands of us out there hiding in plain site. So that's how our country decided to turn against its own, the Variables. That's what they call us. But that's just the main story of us Variables, this one is about me, well. Me and my literal other personality.
