After partly avenging her mother's death, Evette Star, the illegitimate daughter of an elven king, sets off on a warpath to find the adversary of her people. The human King in the West, Dracul Dregoth, has locked himself away in a stone tower for reasons unbeknownst to those who fear him. His reign has blanketed the land in darkness, and while Evette knows little about the man, she intends to make him pay for the deeds done by those who have obeyed his relayed orders. She will bring him to justice, even if it means uncovering hidden secrets that will force her to question if all of her efforts were really worth the trouble. She will have to learn the hard way that self-love and self-acceptance are more important than the love of others. Werewolves, dragons, and undead spirits may keep her from reaching her destination on time, but her need for fiery vengeance will be sated. Of Shadow and Death is the first book in the Shadow Of Wisdom series. No one is truly trustworthy. No one is safe. Few will survive the truth, and even fewer will live happily ever after. ___________________________________ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Of Shadow and Death is art. This book is a page turner. Shadow of a Shade

32 parts Complete

Addiane found her life to be comfortable enough. She may not have known her family, but she was fed and taken care of by those she lived with. She rarely feared for her life, and she was being taught valuable life lessons by those around her. Of course, training to be a Dragon Rider under the Shadeslayer himself, the first proper Rider in a long time, was a major bonus. Addiane wouldn't have thought she'd ever want to leave their little haven. Her curiosity simply got the better of her when Eragon's cousin made a plea for assistance, describing terrifying marauders and bowmen whose aim had been blessed by gods. And of course there was the man who rode the red dragon. Addiane had to know more about him, and about what was going on in the mountains that Eragon Shadeslayer had once called home. She really didn't know what she was getting into. *I DON'T OWN THE RANGERS APPRENTICE SERIES/ACCOMPANYING BOOKS OR THE INHERITANCE CYCLE, I JUST REALLY LOOK UP TO JOHN FLANAGAN AND CHRISTOPHER PAOLINI*
