Atori Simms who can't wait to be an aspiring musician has decided to just go through high school without drawing any unwanted attention.   

How she sets out to accomplish this is by following five simple rules:

1. Stay away from Reece 'the beast' Holton
2. Never fall in love
3. Study hard
4. Never swear
5. Never let anyone other than her two best friends hear her sing.

Being a straight a student with perfect attendance record and not to mention a shy girl complex she thought it would be a piece of cake... well reality slapped her quite hard when Reece the beast takes her under his wing and made known to her that sometimes to live life to the fullest one has to simply....
