Eliza Castillo was so used to change she never expected to be in a situation where she felt safe, secure and stable. She's been through so much already but there is still so much to come. Could Sweet Pea help her defeat her demons or will they consume her?

He watched me, mesmerized by the way I moved my tongue and lips as I chewed my gum. Anything I did had this boy hypnotized and I loved every second of it.

When he finally came out of his trance he looked me in the eye and said, "I take it you're not scared of me then?"

I snorted in response. "Why would I be? You're just a Serpent."

"Just a Serpent?" he held his hand over his heart, feigning hurt. "Wow, it must take a lot to impress you."

I shrugged. "Maybe. I mean... seriously? What are you going to do, kill me?"

He leaned in so that his face was mere centimeters from mine. "Only if you're asking for it. Princess."

Keeping up with this very flirty but intense exchange I say, "And what if I ask you for something else?"

His lips quirked up into a smirk, "Like what?"
