Blood. Pain. War. Those three words would define his life. He never had the greed that tainted the men of his city. And yet, he still suffered the consequences.
Perseus was born of Athens, one of the last Greek cities still standing. His mother was gone. She must have fallen during the battle. The Persians had raided their city, leaving only rubble and smoke.
Now, Perseus had run, not because he was a coward, but to save what little he had left. His little sister.
They were different. That much their mother had told them. They were set apart. Even from each other.
Perseus was a son of a Lelantos, the Titan of Air, Hunting, and the Unseen.
Phoebe, Perseus's sister, was a daughter of Poseidon, the Olympian God of the Sea.
Perseus fought for his sister. Until he failed. He was left desolate, empty, and alone.
But maybe it was for the better.
