When Jade Langley first spies the man in the diner where she works, she has no idea he's a total lunatic. When she offers him a coffee refill and makes conversation, she can't see the sinister wheels turning in his twisted head. He seems innocent, just like any other man you see on the street- but Jade soon learns there's always more than meets the eye.

Kidnapped and drugged, Jade awakens in a strange house where the man has her captive, and if that wasn't already horrid enough, things quickly take a sickening turn when the man reveals the three children in the room behind the kitchen-and his intentions for the four of them. Closed off from the rest of the world, Jade must find a way to protect the children and keep the man happy, all while searching for means of escape- and performing wifely duties.
