In the name of destruction, I fight for others.

"DEIANIRA! What do you have to say for yourself?" Sir Oron, my mentor, shouted at me. I slowly raised my head to see him standing there. Looking around, there must have been a hundred, two, or maybe even five hundred people stand around the gigantic golden room. I slow turned, still sitting on the floor, to see each and every face in shock of my entrance. Finally, I saw the royal family. Odin, sitting upon his throne with his staff in his hand. Next to him was his beautiful wife, Frigga, almost just as shocked as everyone else.

"Well?" Sir Oron's voice bounce around the room, demanding an answer with no room for excuses.

"Just ... ya know... dropping in?" I said sheepishly, hoping that he'd think it was funny.

I took his hands in mine frantically, causing his eyes to meet mine. "Then hand over the Tesseract and come home, Loki. Please." "I can't." He pulled away. "If I'm not allowed rule on Asgard, then I'll rule here." My eyebrows knitted together in desperation. "Loki, pleas-" My plea was cut shot as a burst of energy and the distinctive clang of metal on metal pushed me over into the god of mischief. We stumbled backwards until I laid on his chest and he grunted from the sudden impact. "Thor." I cursed under my breath. "Sorry..." I began lifting myself off of his body. I narrowed my gaze and quickly stood to rush into Thor's aid, ignoring his dejected expression. I was about to leap off the cliff side when I heard four words that had me frozen in my place unlike anything my powers could do. "I still love you." ___________________________________________ (Y/N) Ísveig thought she'd made peace with Loki's death. She couldn't bring herself to forgive him for everything he had done, obviously, but she was finally beginning to live the life she always wanted. She was no longer deemed future queen of Asgard, and she was slowly learning to control her amplified ice powers. That is, until the god of mischief decides to attack New York and steal the Tesseract. Now (Y/N) must again face her inner demons as her powers quickly deem too much for her to handle, and all her feelings for Loki resurface even though she forces herself to see him as the enemy. Only time will tell if her, along with the Avengers, can put a stop to his schemes, or if New York will ultimately be engulfed by a thick layer of snow, ice, and death. ___________________________________________ BOOK 2 in the Loki x (Y/N) Ísveig series. Check out Frost Giants (Loki x Reader) first! DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT own any of Marvel's The Avengers characters, plot, or world; by no means am I profiting from this. I only own (Y/N) Ísveig.
Broken - a Bucky Barnes x Female Reader story by literaryavenger
7 parts Complete
Y/N Y/LN has been part of the Avengers since the start, she's battled against Loki, Ultron and Hydra. Now the team is her family and everybody loves her. One day the whole team disappears for a mission, half of them come back the next day, two weeks later the rest of the team, minus one. No one wants to tell her what happened. Steve Rogers, her best friend, comes back three whole months later, with a new guy: Steve's childhood best friend Bucky. That's when she finds out that her family has been in a Civil War, all because of Bucky. Tony still can't see past the Winter Soldier, but Y/N can't help but see the broken man full of pain and empty of memories. - For the sake of my own sanity in this story Infinity War and Endgame do not happen. Also Pietro didn't die, Asgard did not get blown up and Loki is an Avenger. Scott also is an Avenger so let's pretend Cassie and her mother and the Pym family all live in New York :) - "You shouldn't be here..." he says quietly. He's still avoiding your question, so instead you ask "Why not?" "I could hurt you..." he says in a small, sad voice that breaks your heart. "Would you hurt me?" you ask. He frowns and almost immediately says "of course not" still very quietly. You give him a reassuring smile and say "Then I'm not worried." he finally looks up at you and gives you a small smile. - This was my first story so I'm sorry if the writing is not too good, I'll get better I promise. Also, English is my third language but I try my best, if you find mistakes feel free to point them out. - #38 in avengersfanfiction 01/08/2024 - I do not own any characters except for Y/N and any other character of my creation, all the rights belong to Marvel.

"A man gone insane, after his wife left him for another man, set fire to his home and hanged himself." He tied my hands behind my back. "Go to hell." I choked slowly. The oxygen in air was decreasing rapidly. Caroline. "'Tis quite a shame. To destroy such a handsome creature. You should not have played with fire." Loki snarled, but his voice was deep and calm at the same time. "Now how is it, this feeling of having nothing? Oh, pardon, I forgot you do share my memories." In that moment, the entire house erupted in a cry of pain, to its fundament. A part of the ground broke in. There was only one place the pieces could fall into, and Caroline was down there! "C-Caroline - " My voice was hardly hearable. I was losing vision, saw shapes and flames dancing around me, blue at first but fading into a pitch black darkness. I forced my eyes open and my mind to work. "Do not worry. She will be safe with me, my friend."
