Ever since Amanda was born, she asked questions about the world around her. She was very curious, even though this curiosity would get her in trouble. She asked why her parents had divorced. She asked why school made no sense. She asked why she wasn't a girly girl like the rest of the girls were. She asked herself why no boy took interest in her. She had a best friend, his name was Zack. She would always tease him about being gay, because he too, couldn't get any girl to pay attention to him, until the new girl comes. Every time that she would flirt with him was like a punch in the gut, but Amanda doesn't know why.
