For centuries, the land of Aeris has snuffed out all chance of war. Before they are ever born, potential threats to Aerisan peace are Marked, and wiped out before they can reach adulthood. It is cruel, but effective; Aeris has been at peace for over three hundred years.

But now, a threat looms over Aeris that harbors more than just a war. An old enemy has returned, and with it, a force that the people of Aeris have not seen for centuries- magic. 

For some, as time passes, it becomes more and more difficult to pick a side. As magic returns to Aeris, secrets, buried for years, have begun to resurface. Who exactly is this new threat, and are they truly, as Aeris wants them to believe, an enemy?
