Deep in the Arcane Commonwealth, land of the mages, there's a condemned tower. They say a mysterious incident claimed the lives of all who lived there, the notable victims being Mariel Amaranth, Head Archivist Alistair Banes, and Imperate Warden Tessarius Severus. However, many years ago, a brave Paladin of the sun goddess, Diasunne, was sent by a survivor's father to retrieve the Baron and his daughter.

The question is: does the Baron even want to be rescued? Has he fallen to the level of the Commonwealth thugs and dogs, consorting with mages and bringing his ruin upon his own head?

Well, the Paladin is going to find out a truth the hard way...

Just because you can be sent to rescue a man from madness doesn't mean he hasn't succumbed to his own.

A Promise of Blood, The Tales of Old by FreeReinVikings
4 parts Complete
Aricia, born to the greatest house in Exelia and heir to its throne finds herself at the centre of the city's greatest recorded conflict, everything she loved torn from her. Never knowing blood and death, she is thrusted into a gruesome new world, one of which she is willing to indulge in for Exelia's lawful right of freedom. Carnade became the commander of the exelian military as a young man due to his vast knowledge and skill in combat. His loyalty is unmatched, willing to do whatever it takes to defend his family and the rightful exelian heir, even if that means opposing his king. Vermont, known for his honor and his code, so much so that he was named the golden warrior, will fight for his cause, for the defectors, even if that means forcing Exelia to submit. Outraged by the dishonors of war, he will do his damnedest to precede with caution, but when there is conflict, there will always be men looking for exploitation. Joba, seeking vengeance against the soul devourers who took his family from him, joined the defectors and brought them to Exelia. This may have been his greatest mistake, forcing him into a moral dilemma. On one side, duty tells him to fight for the defectors and seek vengeance, but love tells him to fight for Exelia. No matter his choice, he will have to live with the consequences. This is A Promise of Blood, By Dominik Sorensen. I hope you enjoyed the introduction, the first three chapters. The Lost Life of Laraine by BearGoRawr
56 parts Ongoing
She lead a rather tragic life. The black sheep of her family due to her lack of affinity for fire. Her affinity was quite the opposite. Water in fact. Already in a time when women did not really have much political power or rights, she was outcasted by her family despite being of nobility. Still allowed to live in the distant west wing of the massive Grand Duke's manor, she has never eaten a single meal with her family nor extended family, and has spent her loneliness in her books and sword lessons. Although only taught by the head butler and one of the low ranked knights of the family, she was quite bright and if her family would have given her a chance she would have done great things. If only she didn't die at such a young age. Married off to some "hero" of sort that had slayed the Dragon of the North who was terrorizing the land and threatened the kingdom, this hero also had an affinity for fire and held her in disdain like the rest of her family. Suddenly a girl of another world was transported to their world, picked up by this hero and put into his secure care. The pair soon fell for each other despite the hero's marriage, and many believed Laraine got jealous of this girl of mystery, and tried to kill her. This was definitely not true. But because the girl was favored by the temple and kingdom Laraine was quickly arrested and put on trial. You can probably tell what happened to Laraine. But something strange happened the day of her execution. As soon as her decapitated head hit the ground the sky turned blood red and it began to rain fire. No one survived that day. But for some reason time went back, and Laraine was back to being a child, but with no memory of her future. There were select few in her life, however, that remembered her tragedy and now perhaps will take action to prevent it. NOTE: I'M AWARE THERE ARE A LOT OF INCONSISTENCIES. IT WILL BE EDITED SOME DAY BUT RIGHT NOW I'M JUST TRYING TO FINISH IT.
Blood and Shadows by Astr3a03
18 parts Ongoing
Sirena has no memory of her past as she awakens on the nautiloid. She doesn't just feel the tadpole behind her eye, working its way into her brain. She also feels something deeper...darker. The worm is being overshadowed by the constant desire- no NEED to kill...kill...KILL. Her only mission is to get revenge on those who have left her with only a name and this need to destroy. Everything else, her experiences, battles, and relationships will slowly reveal her past; whether it is useful or disturbing is another problem. However, her past is known to a select few. She will go on to find out she does indeed have a reason for the twitch she feels when a knife is in her hand. A reason why her body sings along with every strike of a blade against anything that moves. She is the daughter of Bhaal himself, the lord of murder. He sired not only her sweet name but the incessant desire for murder. She was trained in the arts of delightful music aswell as blades. Why? Because Bhaal's chosen must be so despicable that they can use honeyed words to convince their prey to commit their own murder, command a room of people to drop with the most angelic of Melodies. Her power resides in words because it was his desire, but her skills were moulded into something far more deadly. How she became lost with this urge is the main question pounding against her skull, but whoever did this didn't think of one thing. Sirena may have forgotten...but she will never forgive. Will she decide to resist this urge and get her revenge? Especially when it comes to those she will grow to love? Well...let's hope the dice roll in her favour. (This is a series I've created in honour of my durge run that I just had to write about. All inspired by conversations, events or areas through the course of the game. This is meant for mature audiences, due to the amount of violence, language, character backgrounds, etc. There are sexual scenes but don't expect many as I'm VERY new to writing. Thank you and enjoy!)

(Cover By Winstermagic) Virgil Grim, a hunter mage from one of the big hunter families, has the unique ability to retain Vampire venom in his body after he's been bitten, giving him powers close to that of a vampire. He finds himself in a hunter party going after a low level only to get captured by the King of Vampires himself. With the threat of Vampires all around him, Virgil finds himself at the mercy of one of the strongest vampires alive. Part of him wants to sink his knife deep into that flirty asshole's chest and watch him combust but... There's a part of him... Some part that... feels connected to him somehow. Like a distant memory of a very soft and kind smile. Inspired by Kidnapped ~ A Prinxiety Story ~ by BellaGlistaria (I absolutely love their book and I couldn't get this idea out of my head because of it so here I am writing a vamp book because their's was so good hahaha)
