My mom had loved Greek mythology before she and my father had been killed in an accident. After their death I was taken in by the Alpha and his family. When I came of age, his son Blaze and I found out we were mates. I was happy... he seemed to accept me, but something seemed wrong. At our most intimate moment I had called out his name and he pulled away from me, saying how he hated me and not wanting me to speak, of how he was imagining someone else. Heartbroken I left his chambers as he was distractedly looking for something to keep me quiet. Returning to my room I showered scrubbing my skin raw so as to remove any trace of him from me. Meanwhile my wolf kept up a constant assault on how she wished I was someone else. "How could I end up with such a pathetic human!" Finally I had had enough, I began to pray to the Moon Goddess. "Dear Moon Goddess, please accept me into your embrace. Give my wolf to another who will make her happy, and allow her mate to be able to be with her. Give my mate to this person." Still in the shower I felt the sudden urge to go under the full moon to say my plea again, that it might be heard. Cutting off my wolf's tyraid of insults I put up my walls, then I heard my door being banged on. Taking action I left the water running in the shower, not caring that I was naked I jumped out the third story window and ran off towards the lake to once again make my plea.

This is my OC, Artemis's, backstory. Artemis is a fennec fox, don't ask why, I thought is was cute. Keep in mind, this is all fake, my life isn't actually like this. I suppose you all know that an OC and the real person are two completely different individuals most of the time. Unlike me, who is fatherless, Artemis is motherless. I drew the cover photo, it's not the best, but it's cute. Artemis's name is Ash (like mine) but then it becomes Artemis later on. You'll understand that better when you read. Also, I took that Soldier, Poet, King quiz. I'm a king/ruler, hence the title. For some reason, when I took that quiz, it made me want to make an OC with a backstory. I have no idea why. So I decided to incorporate that into the backstory. ANDDDDD, my OC has nothing to do with the goddess Artemis. Artemis is just the name I chose. So don't be in the comments like "actually, in Greek mythology, Artemis is like THIS" because I know. I love Greek mythology and stuff like that. I know quite a bit about it.
