What if Dean had a kid? What if he had two? What if his kids suffered in a crumby home situation with an even more messed up mother? And what if they knew of the things that go bump in the night? Well this is my version of answering these questions and more that you probably never asked yourself.
This is a story about a thirteen year old girl named Dakota and her little two year old brother Alex who try to cope and manage their untamable lives. But what will happen when they only have a picture and name of their father, and decide to leave their lives behind them? Will their past catch up to them, or will they be able to keep it behind a thick wall of steel? Read to find out!
(By the way, please be patient as this is my second attempt at a story. I hope you enjoy the story!)

Falling for a Hunter (Female Reader x Dean Winchester)
You grew up to be a hunter despite your fathers wishes for you. Your father, Bobby Singer, hated that you were in this line of work, and he always blamed himself for ridding you of a normal life. It's not like he didn't try to shield you from this life. For the majority of your childhood you weren't aloud to touch weapons or read up on anything supernatural - but his efforts went to waste whenever the Winchesters were over. Growing up an only child with just your father to keep you company could have been boring, but every once in a while one of your dad's old hunting buddies would drop his two sons off at your house. Those weeks and sometimes months when Sam and Dean Winchester lived with you were the best times of your life. The two brothers were your best friends. Dean was the first person to teach you how to shoot, hell he was the first on to teach you most things in this line of work. For a little while you saw them as your brothers, that is, until you and Dean had turned 16 years old. The two of you had celebrated your birthdays together when John (Dean and Sam's dad) dropped them off at your house for nearly six months. During that extended stay you had developed a sort of crush on Dean that you never saw coming. Unfortunately you never were able to explore the possibilities of that relationship as you rarely saw him after those short 6 months. Only every once in a while, then never again after your father had threatened John, cursing him to never show his face around the scrap yard again. He even cocked the shotgun and everything. This story follows along with season 2-6 of supernatural. You are a 26 year old female (the same age as Dean in season 1). I don't own any rights to Supernatural or any of the characters.
