Seeds in Vines

Every year, one of us dies in order for our leader, the oldest and wisest amongst us, to live longer. This year, I am forced into being the one to be sacrificed.

But I don't want to.

I need to do something to stop this from happening, if I can. Even if it means pitting against him, I am ready.

For my life, I will do anything to survive.
