After surviving sixteen long years in the compound, Vireo thinks he’s holding the perfect strategy to not being chosen. Every day in the compound has an air of anxiety when people wonder which five people will be taken away each week by the cannibals. After losing his only and closest friend, Vireo empties of love and fills with hate. However, with a sarcastic cannibal named Tokin appearing in the picture, and a (almost) psychotic girl named Tonnerre, Vireo just might find a way to discover that he’s not the only one that’s trapped.

Enter; Tokin, a young cannibal without a past. At eighteen years old, Tokin remembers little about his life outside of the fact that he was raised and tortured by a man named Incheau, and that he is in love with a girl named Galaxy who disappeared when he was six. Not to mention he's also got his step brother Otter to deal with. But when Tokin discovers an area on the map nicknamed "The Grey" and decides to check it out, a system that has existed for ages shatters, and the world itself crumbles.

HFJONE starvation AU by Airy45
12 parts Complete
Will they win, or will their hunger take over? 18 objects. 12 stomachs to feed. 1 "prize." No food. Many characters from ONE including favorites such as Liam, Bryce, and Amelia fight to survive in a competition created by Airy, a competition that contains no food, a competition that forces them to commit to the lifestyle of something they never wanted to be. The question is... Will they win? Or will their hunger take over? COMIC EDITION: The comic is written and drawn on Webtoon, and here too! :) CONFIRMATION: One but I add hunger and also more injures. Also perma-death after a certain point. perma-death means that they can still use the radio but airy cannot respawn anybody. To explain how each batch gets hungry: Batch 3 does not need to eat, batch 2 needs to eat only once every- like- 3 months, batch 1 needs to eat like a human does. FORMATION OF THE IDEA: I was talking about ONE to someone when I realized, do they have to eat in ONE? There are scenes where Liam is eating breakfast and Charlotte is cutting carrots but it's never said if they NEED to eat. They're seen on the plane without any food for over seven months. So I got the brilliant idea to make them get hungry and likely have some characters resort to other sources of food! This is where that one question came from on this quiz that I made: https://uquiz.com/quiz/9bsREU/what-hfjone-character-are-you-most-like-not-accurate WARNINGS: hfjone spoilers, starvation, cannibalism, blood, gore, vomiting, death, infections, poison, hallucinations, memory loss, one-sided relationships, derealisation, hanging, knives, su!c!d3, depression, mild language (Most of the bloody and gory stuff is explained in great detail, oops) And I now realize that most people cannot read my story becuase of the warnings, sorry about that! Story by me One by cheesy hfj BEGAN: September 5th, 2022 ENDED: October 21, 2022 fun fact: most parts here are re-written versions of one i wrote a week previously!!
The Aftermath at Mount Massive by Lord-Tye
15 parts Complete Mature
-Cross-post from my Ao3- The Aftermath at Mount Massive is part one of a three part series called Survivors. This part is done. It is a fanfic for the game Outlast, set after the first game/DLC. However, you don't have to know much about the game to jump in. This story follows an independent journalist named Miles Upshur who received an email from a whistleblower, Waylon Park, who worked at Murkoff Psychiatric Systems: Mount Massive. The hospital was supposed to be run as a charity, offering help to those who could not pay, or for those who other hospitals wouldn't accept. However, things weren't as they seemed and Murkoff was using the hospital as a cover for a laboratory where they were performing experiments on humans. The end result of such experiments was the creation of Project Walrider, a bio-nanite parasite that lives inside a human body. Miles stumbles into the facility during a security breach and riot. He manages to survive the night but in doing so becomes infected with the nanites, becoming the new host for Project Walrider. The Aftermath of Mount Massive is about Miles coming to terms with what being the Host means for both his humanity and future. Content Warning: This fic contains blood, gore, cannibalism, a suicide attempt, mild body horror, and language. If you are sensitive to any of those things I suggest not reading. Thanking Luke for the gesture it doesn't take long for Emily and Jake to get stuck into an argument due to Emily not being able to bite her tongue for much longer on the Jake and Kimmy situation, Jake disappearing the next day with Kimmy and leaving Emily to wonder exactly what the both of them got up to. With things not sitting right with her and discovering Kelsey isn't saying much on the whereabouts of her cousin and friend. "Death, I think I could handle. It's the waiting that kills me." Humanity is no more. Struggling out of the rubble are the Lumière and the Fos, two races whose only edible source of food is the hearts of one another, and no matter how much they eat they're eternally hungry. Perhaps they were once the same-- brothers in humanity-- but now they're brothers in cannibalism. Though these monsters may look human, it's important to remember they are anything but. They are not alive, and they are definitely not human. Kai Chrysostom's brother, Ash, just died. He was the family's Sawney, the hunter of Fos: the one who went into the white plains just beyond the city walls to hunt Fos for food so his family could live. Most days, he would arrive home, place heart after heart on the dinner table and smile at his brother, whose constant twitching and childhood disease meant he could never kill a Fos himself. Now, the task falls to Kai. Considered by most to be disabled, Kai has no hunt training, a fear of death, and worse-- a fear of the past. A death. A journey. Eternal hunger. A hunt he never wanted to join. And love. A girl Fos who spares everyone except him, and takes pity on the poor fool as he literally faints at the sight of blood in front of her. A prison. A savior. A loss. More death. And the past that demands to be remembered. And, it's great-- you've sympathized with your only source of food-- but you're hungry. And, deep down, you know you must eat. ~~~ 45,205 words! Finished! Finally~!!

WARNING: THIS STORY CONTAINS SCENES THAT SOME MAY FIND TRIGGERING. UPDATE: SUNDAY HEADS UP: I associate music a lot with writing. One I can do, the other I can't lol. Like all my stories, each chapter will have a song or songs attached, I recommend you listen to each to grasp the full gravity of the story. Comments will be left for when you should change song. Alex spends most of his days alone and that's the way he likes it. The world isn't like it used to be, and going alone is the easier option. Monsters invaded, bringing with them death and plague. They left their scars on humanity, on him. What will he do when he's forced to face his demons, and the end of his quiet life? Will he be able to retain his humanity? "We don't know who's doing this to us, what root it's growing from, or why. They came with blood, ash, and war. Humanity retreated away to its bastion as the darkness clouded around us, and then they came. Our beacons of light." Art by ORYANIMA Twitter.com/Oryanima Instagram.com/Oryanima
