As Kimihito is shopping for groceries, he stumbles across 2 kids who tell him they're lost. But, they aren't normal kids. As they have cat ears and tail meaning they're monsters. Kimihito tells them he'll help them find their mom, only to be pounced by a swift monster who takes the kids. Which happens to be their mother. After the misunderstanding is cleared up and apologies are said, the cat family find themselves visiting Kimihito's home. At the house, Smith tells Kimihito that he has to look after the family temporarily until final preparations are made for the Nekoya family. Soon enough, the family moves in.
