It has been five years since I have left my home town Afton, Oklahoma; to join the military I was 12 years old when I left. Not really having a normal childhood I only came home to visit my family, and didnt really have many friends that were my age, but at 17 getting medically discharged I am forced to go back to the town I have escaped for all these years.

However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Out of all the guys that have hit on me in school today he is the only one that has caught my eye -- bad news is that he didn't even bother. "You know him? An Unexpected Moment

While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either.
