A year after the events of The Cursed Child, it's Scorpius Malfoy and Rose Granger-Weasley's fifth year at Hogwarts, and both Scorpius and Rose are having a turbulent year back at school.

Scorpius' father is murdered in cold blood, and he copes with the loss through means of self-destruction and the dark arts while his friends fight to save him before the darkness consumes him entirely.
