The virtuous Sylvan Order and the nefarious Cracyian Knights have been at odds for over a century. In an attempt to create peace, the guild masters have forced their heirs into an arranged marriage, and onto a quest for a lost faerie relic called the Crown of I'silin. Less than thrilled, Ander (the magicless Sylvan) and Synela (the powerful, Cracyian mage) are joined by other companions as they quest for a crown that offers ultimate power to whosoever wears it, which would ultimately end the quiet war between the guilds.

In finding the crown, the companions (and perhaps some enemies) discover that many more things are afoot in the land, some good, some questionable.
